This is a nice EP from DJ Ace aka The Cut Lieutenant; a real talented DJ out of Brooklyn, NY and a 20-year veteran of the NYPD (Brooklyn’s 78th Precinct). You may have seen him do a guest appearance on Funk Flex's Five Minutes of Funk video series or caught him either on radio, at a local gig or going viral on the internet for his DJ videos. His cuts are extremely sharp and I really enjoy listening to his tributes to various artists through social media posts in support of their music. For The Culture is only 5 tracks, but it's a really solid release that met my already high expectations. Keep an eye out for future mixes, radio shows and hopefully more studio releases. Salute!
